6 I. Personal Account Agreement By requesting an account, you agree to the following conditions: 1) Disclosure of data protection and consent – Your personal data What is personal data? Personal data is information about an identifiable person. It contains information that you have provided to us or that we have collected from other sources. It may contain details such as your name, address, date of birth, gender, personal financial data, identification numbers, including your Social Security number, personal references and employment documents. Why does the bank ask for your personal data? When we collect your personal data, we may use or disclose it to: verify your identity; Provide and manage the products and services you have requested Understand their financial services requirements Fraud protection and risk management Determine the adequacy of products and services for you Better manage your relationship with us Determine your authorization for some of our products and services or products or services of others; comply with legal or regulatory requirements or are authorized by law; Contact you about products and services that may be of interest Understand our customers and develop and adapt our products and services and answer any questions you have. If a new goal develops for the use of your personal data, we will identify this purpose. Sharing your personal data We may share your personal data within BMO Financial Group, including sites outside of Canada where we operate, for legal and regulatory purposes, to manage credit and other business risks, to conduct analyses to ensure that we have accurate or up-to-date information about you (such as your current address or date of birth) and to better manage your relationship with us. Your Selection If you apply for a new product or service, we will obtain your consent to collect, use or disclose your personal data for the purposes mentioned above. If you do not wish to receive our direct marketing messages and/or do not wish to share your personal data with BMO Financial Group members for marketing purposes, you may have your name removed from our direct marketing and/or sharing lists. If you would like to change your privacy settings, please let us know.

Please note that you cannot revoke your consent to collect, use and disclose your personal data if: We have a legal obligation to collect, use or disclose your personal data, or to refer to a credit product we have granted you when we are required to collect and exchange your personal data continuously with credit agencies, credit insurers and other lenders. Revocation of your consent in certain situations may also mean that we may not be able to provide you with the products or services you are requesting.
